Our Story

In 1990, wanting to sell off-road models not distributed in Switzerland, Olivier Monnier homologated the first model in a long series | the MONNIER MXR 600 R, based on a Honda XR 600 R.

After a year of work, he obtained his first Swiss homologation under his own brand, which was followed by the homologation of around twenty other models of motorcycles and quads for the European market.

The company founded by the race driver and preparer Olivier Monnier had already built a solid reputation in the world of motorcycling. His company specialized in the disciplines of enduro, rally raids and Supermoto.

In 1995 Olivier Monnier entered the legendary Paris-Dakar, which he finished in 15th place in the general classification. Through competition, he built a solid reputation in different disciplines.

The excellent results obtained allowed him to establish his reputation and promote his know-how as well as MONNIER products.

In 2014, SP RACING TEAM SA was approached by the French importer of an Asian brand to develop and distribute the XRF model in Switzerland. After a long development process, convincing tests and European approval obtained, SP RACING TEAM SA began marketing these motorcycles in 2015 under the MONNIER brand.

MONNIER has built a solid reputation in the world of sport thanks to excellent products sold in Switzerland and Europe by the company SP RACING TEAM SA.
